RM50,000 extra allocation for all Johor assemblymen ‘to fight Covid-19’

An extra RM50,000 will be given to all assemblymen in Johor to help spread precise data on Covid-19, menteri besar Hasni Mohammad reported today.

He said all Johor assemblymen who went to a virtual gathering today had consented to help the express government’s proposition to fortify the part of area officials and heads of nearby experts in handling Covid-19, particularly as far as implementation.




“I approach all assemblymen to increase drives to battle Covid-19 in their electorates to benefit all,” he said in an explanation.

He said the responsibility appeared by all Perikatan Nasional and Pakatan Harapan delegates likewise demonstrated that the “Cara Johor” (the Johor way) is vital in guaranteeing cross-party agreement in confronting this pandemic.

Hasni said Johor had before tried to get immunization supplies under the Johor ImmuPlan drive to get an extra stock of 100,000 portions of antibodies for the state’s monetary frontliners.

He said that starting yesterday, 85,849 applications have been gotten. Of that number, 72,180 met the rules to be sorted as forefront laborers.

He added Johor was intending to give its third financial boost bundle and dispense RM10 million for the arrangement of food bins.
